The Solana Foundation track is focused on building high-performance, scalable, memory-minimized applications (dApps) on the Solana blockchain, known for its ultra-fast transactions and low fees.

DEVELOPERS WILL:

  • Leverage Solana's cutting-edge infrastructure to
    create Web3 applications with high throughput.

  • Utilize Solana smart contracts (Solana Program Library - SPL) to build DeFi, gaming, and other blockchain-based solutions.

  • Receive mentorship and technical support from Solana experts to optimize and refine their projects.

  • A detailed problem statement will be provided onsite to guide development.

PRIZE POOL: €5000

The XRPL Commons Track is designed for developers eager to explore the XRP Ledger (XRPL) and build secure, fast, and scalable blockchain solutions.

DEVELOPERS WILL:

  • Develop decentralized applications (dApps) and payment solutions on XRPL.

  • Explore XRPL's advanced features, including NFTs, decentralized finance (DeFi), and interoperability.

  • Receive direct mentorship from XRPL developers and ecosystem leaders to enhance their projects.

  • A detailed problem statement will be provided onsite to guide development.

PRIZE POOL: €7500

Build on Bahamut – a Layer 1 blockchain powered by Proof of Stake and Activity (PoSA), designed for scalability, fairness, and security.

DEVELOPERS WILL:

  • Build using Bahamut’s PoSA consensus for secure and sustainable dApps.

  • Explore dApps like Kujata, Silkswap, Rubic, 8Legends, and Erinaceus Oracles.

  • Leverage Caucasus Layer 2 for high-speed, low-fee transactions.

  • Receive mentorship and access to ecosystem grants.

  • Get a detailed problem statement onsite.

Anyone passionate about blockchain development, including developers, designers, and Web3 enthusiasts, can participate. Prior experience with Solana, XRPL or Bahamut is recommended but not mandatory.

No, participation in the hackathon is completely free. However, slots are limited to 250 developers, and applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bring your laptop, charger, and any additional development tools you may need. We recommend installing relevant software (Solana CLI, XRPL toolkits, Bahamut tools) before arrival.

Yes! We will provide meals, snacks, and beverages throughout the hackathon.

You can participate solo or in a team of up to 5 members. Team formation and networking opportunities will be available at the venue.

No, detailed problem statements for all the tracks will be revealed onsite to ensure fair competition.

You will have access to mentorship from Solana Foundation, XRPL Commons and Bahamut experts, technical support, and sponsor engagement throughout the event.

While prior experience in blockchain development is helpful, beginners who are eager to learn and build are also encouraged to apply.

Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Innovation & Creativity – How unique and impactful is your idea?
  • Technical Execution – Quality and functionality of the code.
  • Use of Solana/ XRPL / Bahamut – Effective implementation of blockchain tools.
  • Real-World Impact – Practicality and problem-solving potential.
  • Presentation & Pitch – Clarity and effectiveness in presenting your solution.

Final pitches will take place on April 6, 2025, followed by the prize announcement at the closing ceremony.

Travel and accommodation costs are not covered. However, we can provide visa invitation letters for international participants if required.
